I'm pretty sure I'm going to enter into that tournament, but I was wondering if I do win a seat, how will that work? Like will they send a check for the amount, then it's up to me to go register? Is that legal here in the states w/ the ban on online gambling (still think it's in effect)? Should I even try to qualify if I can't even use it?Thanks!!! That's what I was thinking about the odds. It's a more than I usually play (and have to put some money in the account) but right now is a perfect time for me since I can very easily get it off from work. I was just worried about actually winning a seat, but due to the stupid us. law not being able to get the money from it, essentially wasting the money I spent.

I wouldn't worry about state police swarming in on the winners of the tournament. Remember, the ban is on funding (banks and online services,) not the players themselves. If you win, PokerStars support will make the arrangements with you. You get $1000 spending money put into your Stars account, the buy-in and fee to the tournament and a hotel room. They'll also try and get you to wear PokerStars apparel during the tournament. Since they're giving away 200 packages it's definitely worth entering the satellite. If I had $370 in my Stars account, I would. Those are some damned good odds. Even if you're not a great poker player, playing in the WSOP is a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that they take care of the seat in the event for you and you just get in when you're down there. The spending money will be credited to your PS account I'm pretty sure though. As for being worried about getting in trouble you don't need too. There will be lots of US players entering this satellite and I'm sure quite a few will win a seat.

Yeah, they just credit your account with the value of the prize package. You have to cash out yourself and buy your own way into the tournament.I wouldn't be quite as secure about being able to get your money as the first guy. Because of the recent freezing of accounts, many people had their checks from Pokerstars rejected by their banks. I'm not saying your won't get your money, but it seems there might be some delays and you might not have to money in your hand by the time the Main Event starts. I know at least a couple people who've won their way in, and have said they're just going to buy in with their own money and deal with cashing out their $10,000 from Pokerstars later.Reps from Pokerstars are at the WSOP, and if you win your way in, you should check in with them. I haven't checked specifically this year, but in the past they would give you cash if you appeared on TV or made the final table while wearing their gear (they're pay the Supernova's $1 million if they won the whole thing!!), so it's worth it to check in with them.Good luck.

I remember something, there's some safe banking intended for players in online casino games.
I'll be back , I'll just have to check about that banking method, and share it here. __________________
