DefaultDo they have texas hold em tournaments at casinos in Joliet, Illinois?
I'm only 20 years old but when i turn 21 I wanna start playing high stakes poker. I dont plan on moving to vegas anytime soon so since i live right next to joliet, illinois i figured i can get my start in the casinos there if they have tourneys.

If there are casinos there, I'm sure they have Texas Hold'Em tourneys. Never been to Joliet myself. You could always call them and ask.I caution you against moving too quickly into high stakes poker. The higher the stakes, the better the players; it's a really good idea to stay in low stakes games until you've built up your skills.

hey i live in villa park, illinois and they have a website thats dedicated to poker tournaments in illinois that aren't in casinos. its called www.chicagocharitablegames.comthey have tournaments ranging from a buy in of 25 dollars to 320 dollars so whichever you prefer. the tournaments are basically in halls, not casinos.if you want to play in a casino you can go to Hollywood Casino in Aurora, IL. they have tournaments everyday but on wednesday and sunday they play big tournament. just go to their website for more info.its www.hollywoodcasino.com and click IL
